Dj John Perez has been dropping bombs and blowing minds since 2000 when he dove head first into the ultra competitive Upstate Hard Techno scene. Right off John knew he had found his passion in life- Causing severe structural damage to dance floors in venues all over the country!
Music changes, and John has learned to appreciate the diversity that is our scene! From his Techno roots John has gone on to master Funky House, Two Step, Speed Garage, Tech House and currently spends most of his attention on blending the number one sound in the world-Fidget-with the lost art of Nasty Breaks.
In 2005 John moved from New York to Denver. He quickly started making his mark on the Denver scene by playing warehouses and Colorado’s famous outdoor parties. It was at an outdoor event that John first played alongside local favorite Dj Soleil and soon formed the duo Laser Dynamite. It wasn’t long before John was invited to join Denver’s #1 Fidget group, Blingfaced, who had been making huge moves in the E.D.M. scene. John now plays on his own, as Laser Dynamite with Soleil, and With Blingfaced featuring Ishe-Soleil-Evenflo-((Diverse))-Sureshot-MLE-and John Perez!
John has also made his mark as a promoter. In October of 2008 Laser Dynamite began a long standing weekly at local hot spot Sutra Lounge. Alongside Blingfaced, Laser Dynamite created a following of awesome friends and devoted fans. In 2009 Blingfaced and Laser Dynamite threw several small parties and one huge event named Spring Loaded. John and both his groups continue to plan and throw events with one focus in mind-great times!
